This HBD is made of 2mm thick mild steel, which is a strong and durable material that can resist bending and warping on uneven surfaces. The HBD also has tapered edges that can prevent injuries and accidents when positioning the drum or container on the heater. The HBD uses a 0-150c capillary thermostat, which can be used to set the desired temperature.

 The HBD can provide gentle and uniform heat from below to your drum or container, making it ideal for heating materials that are sensitive to overheating or scorching. The base heater can be used in conjunction with other Holroyd drum heaters such as the HSSD silicone heater or the range of heater jackets.

Current Applications

Used for similar purposes to (and sometimes in conjunction with) the HSSD Side Drum Heater, the HBD provides heating up to 150°C across the drum base for increased efficiency. These industrial base barrel heaters can also be used in conjunction with our insulation jackets or our HISD drum heating jackets.
