Kapton Heaters

Kapton (polyimide) is a thin, flexible and semi-transparent material that has excellent thermal conductivity and heat transfer properties. Our Kapton heaters can quickly and efficiently heat up multiple applications and offers a shorter cool down period compared to our silicone options.

Due to the resilient nature of the material, these polyimide heater elements are suitable in environments that require chemical resistance with low outgassing. This makes them suitable for applications that require a clean and safe heating environment e.g., vacuums, medical equipment and clean rooms.

Our Kapton heaters can be designed with bespoke shapes, dimensions and customisable to suit applications with a broad range of voltages and wattages. In addition, sensors, limiters, and thermal fuses can be integrated to allow control and operation in a wide range of temperatures. Contact us to discuss the needs and specifications of your custom Kapton heaters.
